Tapout Strong is an interval-based strength and conditioning workout that targets various muscle groups to enhance performance and increase muscular endurance. This workout incorporates strength elements like dumbbells, TRX suspension straps, medicine balls and other conditioning tools to deliver a charged-up, muscle-pumping workout.
Tapout 20 can be done in a class or on your own. This unique format takes you through a dynamic, 20-minute circuit unlike anything you’ve experienced before. This non-intimidating, express workout is perfect for the beginner, intermediate and advanced participant, and will easily fit into any schedule.
Tapout Fusion is the culmination of all Tapout Fitness has to offer. You will rotate through 3 mini areas that will provide you with an unbeatable 45 minute workout experience. Bootcamp is designed for maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, challenge your body, and most importantly, make fitness fun! Bootcamp is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns. You get everything you need! Weights and body bar can be used. We keep you moving and burning fat from the first minute to the very end!
This class does it all—designed to blast your cardio fitness and work your muscles in every way possible! Some days you may do kickboxing, some days step, some days high/low impact, some days sports conditioning. You will use a variety of different tools, as well as your own body weight to change the shape of your body. All fitness levels welcome.
Mat Pilates is a precision-based group of exercises that first focus on the core (abdominal and back muscles) and then move outward to strengthen and tone the entire body. Non-impact strengthening exercises are performed on mats with fitness props such as balls, circles, and light weights. This class will challenge you in a completely different way than traditional strength training. You’ll find yourself sitting up straighter and fitting into your skinny jeans in weeks, not months.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and the ability to better tackle activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball are provided for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
Tapout Martial Arts Adults Fundamentals is for adults who want to learn martial arts, no matter how old they are. This program offers a full study of the Tapout Martial Arts by Greg Jackson system, with a heavy emphasis on not only technique, but also tactical strategy and training methods unique to the system. Class consists of sport-specific exercises, technique drills and a variety of world-class training methods developed by Greg Jackson to build UFC world champions. This is a progressive class and open to anyone at any fitness level.
This abdominal program is one hour long and designed to tone and define your core. The workout may or may not include weights set to music, which will keep you motivated to keep moving. During this workout, your “Total Abs”—upper, middle, lower, and obliques—will be engaged to help you achieve a strong core.
Work all muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises in this athletic-based sculpting class. It tones the upper and lower body using resistance like hand weights, body bars, and your own body weight. All fitness levels welcome.
In this all-levels class, you’ll focus on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. So what’s different about the Tapout Fitness Woodstock Kombat Yoga class? Our yoga program was designed by (and is taught by) an eighth-degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate with the intent purpose of creating a yoga program that will give you endurance, tone, and flexibility in the areas that we need it most—including core, hamstrings, and calves.
Mixed Martial Arts classes provide a complete and exciting workout and an opportunity to learn real technical skills that can be applied to a variety of life situations, including self defense. Participate in skill drills using bags, dummies, mitts, and pads, and obtain the fitness level you seek.
Tapout Fitness offers its members the chance to test their skills in the ring! Come to our live sparring night and knuckle up against an opponent. (Remember, it’s all in good fun!)
One of the most popular forms of group exercise in the market right now are HIT boot camps. These classes are structured around individual exercise stations and are performed in a circuit one right after another for (Usually 30 seconds to three minutes) in Classes consist of a combination of strength and muscle development movements using powerlifting and bodybuilding (including barbell, dumbbell, and kettlebell); body weight strength training; toning (such as sit-ups or pull-ups); agility and balance work (such as ladder drills); and cardio endurance (think sprints and jump rope). Our boot camps use all of the above. But because we are Tapout Fitness Woodstock, we also often incorporate kickboxing and boxing stations. Boot camps are effective because of theri “combined arms” effect of using cardio/calorie-burn workouts and resistance-based muscle-building workouts, which is the key to reshaping a body. They’re also fun and fresh because the stations change all the time, and there is no end to the different combinations an instructor can use to build a boot camp. Our unique designed Focusmaster G-1000™ is state of the art equipment perfect for anyone looking to get in the best shape of their life.
No experience is needed, as all of the combinations are based on basic boxing and kickboxing fundamentals and our resistance training comes from your own body weight. Morning or night, all you need is 30 minutes with Focusmaster and your transformation begins.
This 30 minute class is a total body workout utilizing the FocusMaster machine. After a brief, but intense, warmup you will glove up and begin 2-3 minute rounds of striking against the FocusMaster machine. The class will conclude with an ab session and cool down.
Strategy and tactics in all 5 ranges of the fight. Stand up, clinch, ground — all techniques will be taught and learned.
It is not required that you’re a fighter or in tournaments to attend this class. You will learn how to train like one and get into shape like a fighter; physically and mentally.
This class is designed to teach you pure self-defense. Though it does consist of some warm-up exercises and endurance drills, the bulk of what you will be doing is receiving and practicing technical instructions on how to defend yourself in real-world situations, where there are no gloves, no three-minute rounds, and no referee.

No Gi is grappling without the traditional uniform, instead you wear shorts and a rash guard or Tshirt. It combines moves and theory from several different styles of grappling such as Catch Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, Sambo and Collegiate Wrestling.
